Valbuena de Duero is an incomparable setting due to the magnificent wine history surrounding it. Within this special setting is situated the Emina Rural House, an 18th century building restored to offer peace and quiet to tourists looking for a place to rest in this Castilian land. 3 rooms have been furnished and decorated in accordance with a the most genuine Castilian style: one living room, two bathrooms and a kitchen, sleeping up to seven people. A warm place with all the necessary commodities needed to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

The surroundings
The area in which it is situated, offers a great variety of activities to be enjoyed in order to spend a few days far from the stresses of everyday life. The village, inhabited by nearly 500 people, is peaceful, has excellent access and is located just a few kilometres away from several wineries (Emina, Matarromera, Renacimiento, etc.)

The name of Emina comes from the days of the Cistercian Monks, who worked at the monastery of ‘Santa Maria de Valbuena’. These monks were allocated a daily wine portion known as Emina, an ancient measure which was equivalent to a quarter of a litre).
